The basic idea is to go to the Horse-Plains, Come By Night Upon the Minion , Rive their Gates, Play a Spear, a Faction, discard a Book, and play the other Faction.
The linchpin, is, of course, Doeth, who makes corruption checks as minion and is therefore an extremely brutal spellslinger when Never Refuse comes in.
When you know it’s safe (Spying Out the Land), run up to the Lonely Mountain for the Necklace. If you get it early enough, it’ll help with the faction influencing.
Pallando will have to make a Risky Journey to the Horse Plains, but he’ll be sideboarding the first few turns, anyway. Ultimately, Mischief/Guarded/Strident Spawn one of the and start pulling in Half-Orc character points and factions points through Strident Spawn and Pallando’s Stave, respectively. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can get the two Khand factions, as well.
Stick in some extra Orcs to make sure your company stays overt; it won’t do to have to visit the Hero versions of the sites.
